Update Regarding Posting Schedule

Hey everybody! So I have finished all the reviews of the books I've already read. It has come to my attention that I do not have the ability to read a book in 2 days and enjoy it. So because of that, I have changed my posting schedule, I will now be posting reviews every other week (still on Thursdays and Fridays) This is so I can enjoy the book and give you guys my best review possible. My Teaser Tuesdays and Swoon Fridays will still be every week.

Thanks for reading my blog. If you really like it, give me a follow! Thanks.

 Until next time.

First Thoughts

I was so excited to read this book because I enjoyed the last book so much. When I started this book I was automatically hooked (mostly because I had to finish it in 2 days) It picked up right where it left off, it didn't have you wondering what happened. So here's my honest review of this book.

Review

So first of, you need to know that this book is an emotional roller coaster. Shannon has you laughing, crying, swooning, and trying to fight the reality of something. Now I did have to finish this book in 2 days, so I was quite rushed but I tried to soak up everything I could. And I have to say it was just an all-around great read.

This book did have a couple of slow parts, but what book doesn't? I wouldn't call it a slow book. I was pleasantly surprised, this book surpassed all of my expectations, I love a book that can make you feel everything the characters are feeling. Shannon went above and beyond that, she had me thinking about the sad parts and trying to wrap my head around the whole thing, as I was there experiencing it with the characters.

Overall this book is one I would defiantly recommend, and I would totally read it again. It has all the ups and downs that don't go unnoticed with me and are greatly appreciated.

The Queen B* Stikes Back Review

The Queen B* Strikes Back by Crista McHugh

Alexis Wyndham isn’t quite sure what to think about her “friendship” with the star quarterback, Brett Pederson.

Sure, he has more intelligence than the entire football team combined. Not to mention that fact he’s a great kisser.

When he asks her to help him with his college admission essays, she isn’t sure if he’s doing it to spend more time with her or if he’s just using her for her brains.

But after her nemesis, Summer Hoyt makes it clear she’s not finished chasing after Brett, Alexis begins to realize how hard she’s fallen for Brett. Now the war is on, and the head cheerleader will find out why she should never take on a Queen B*.

First Thoughts

When I finished reading the first book, I knew I had to read the rest of the series. When you first start reading this book, it instantly grabs your attention. Within the first chapter, there is an awkward part that makes you feel like you're right in the middle of it, it's awesome! So here's my honest review of this book.

Review

So this book as I said grabs your attention from the very beginning, which means it doesn't have a slow start! It starts off with some witty banter on Brett's side aimed at Alexis. All throughout the book, you are screaming at Alexis to just take a chance, but part of the fun is settling down an seeing thing from her perspective.

There are also parts of the book where Alexis lets her walls down, and it makes you so happy, but as quickly as they were down they're back up. At that point is where you lose hope for Brett and Alexis, but if you just keep your hope you won't be disappointed, or will you? You'll have to read to find out.

Overall this book is one of the best I've read in a while. I would definitely recommend this book/series to my friends.

Swoon Friday All The Broken Pieces

All The Broken Pieces by Cindi Madsen

Kindle edition 79%

Liv took a deep breath, trying and failing to keep her voice steady. “You think I’m cute?”
“Damn cute.” A fleeting smile crossed his lips, then his expression returned to serious. “You’re the one person whose opinion I care about. When I’m with you, the past disappears, and I’m a better person.”
She closed the gap between them and wrapped her arms around his waist.
His arms encircled her and his lips brushed her temple as he spoke. “I knew I was a gonner after we went lizard hunting.”
She looked up at him. “Then why’d you fight it so long?”
He turned his head away. “I don’t deserve to be happy. I’ve done some awful things, Liv.”
“When I came here, I didn’t know who I was. I had a hard time just being in public.” She put her hand on the side of his face. “Meeting you is the best thing that ever happened to me. Nothing you—or anyone else for that matter—say will change what I think about you.”
He grabbed her hand and pulled her toward the exit. “I guess there’s only one way to prove you’re theory.”
